Agustiyansyah Passed His Closed PhD Exam

Agustiyansyah of UNILA

Agustiyansyah passed his first phase of PhD final examination

After answering a number of inquiries and confirmations from seven members of team examiners, Agustiyansyah was finally passed his closed PhD examination (first phase of final PhD exam). Agustiyansyah had to defend his PhD dissertation before three advisory committees (Prof. Satriyas Ilyas [chairman], Prof. Sudarsono [member], Dr. Muhammad Machmud, APU [member]), two examiners (Dr. Abdjad Asih Nawangsih and Dr Endang Murniati), representatives from Agronomy Graduate Program (Dr. Enni Widayati) and from Faculty of Agriculture office (Dr. Aris Munandar).

Agustiyansyah is one step closer in getting his PhD degree from IPB. However, he has to do a minor revision for his PhD dissertation document before he will be allowed to take his open PhD exam (second phase of final PhD examination). He has one month to do the revision and hopefully will be able to take his open PhD exam in June 2011. We hope that he will be able to complete the suggested revision for his dissertation as soon as possible and get it ready for the last step. All PMB Lab staffs and associated students congratulate Agustiyansyah for his success.
