Zulhermana stopped by PMB Lab during his visit to Bogor

While visiting ‘Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi Perkebunan‘, Ir. Zulhermana, MS. of Sampoerna Agro (SA), stopped by PMB Lab in May 10, 2011. Ir. Zulhermana, MS, was an alumnus of Agronomy Graduate Program (MSc./S2 Program) who worked in diversity of Sampoerna Agro’s oil palm as his MSc. thesis research.

Ir. Zulhermana, MS. did his MSc. research program at PMB Lab, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). He has presented two poster presentations based on his thesis research.

Ir. Zulhermana, MS. went to ‘Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi Perkebunan,’ Bogor in May 9-11, 2011. Sampoerna Agro and Puslitbang Biotek Perkebunan have an on going research agreement for developing ‘Ganoderma’ resistance oil palm varieties and for micropropagation of SA elite oil palm materials. The purposes of his visit were to follow up those agreements and to visit tissue culture lab. where the micropropagation activities are conducted.

All PMB Lab staffs and associated students welcome him back to this lab. We wish all his company’s collaboration with Puslitbang Bioteknologi Perkebunan will be fruitful and successful in the years to come.
