Dini Dinarti at USDA-ARS Lab at Beltsvile, Maryland and Mentan RI during his visit in this lab

On Tuesday (May 24, 2011), the Minister of Agriculture, Republic of Indonesia, accompanied by ‘Atase Pertanian’ of KBRI USA and a number of private companies from Indonesia, have visited cacao research facilities at USDA-ARS, Beltsvile, Maryland, USA. This information was sent by  Dini Dinarti, an alumnus of PMB Lab who is in three months training at the USDA-ARS lab.

Dini said that the purpose of Minister of Agriculture visit to USDA-ARS at Beltsvile, Maryland was to inspect cacao research facilities and discussed what kind of cacao research activities are conducted in the USDA-ARS Lab. She also made a short presentation about her cacao research activities at USDA-ARS lab before the Minister of Agriculture.

Dini Dinarti also added that the Minister of Agriculture visit to USDA-ARS Lab at Beltsvile, Maryland was enthusiastically welcomed by the Lab Directors and his research staffs. They expect that there will be followed up cacao research activities in the future.

All PMB Lab staffs ad associated students wish Dini Dinarty success in her training at USDA-ARS, Beltsvile, Maryland, USA. We hope that she will have a good research results to bring with her when she come back to IPB.
