ISNAR C2FS Was Successfull – Congratulation to Sukendah & Her Colleagues

International Seminar on Climate Change and Food Security (ISNAR C2FS) was successfully organized at Surabaya. Congratulation to Sukendah and her colleagues who organized the seminar. The international seminar attracted more than 220 participants from at least five different countries, including Japan, Malaysia, The Phillipine, and China (Taiwan).

The international seminar was organized as plenary sessions, parallel-oral presentations, best paper presentations, student competition presentations, and poster presentations. The international seminar run from 27 – 29, 2011. As closing venues, city tour to visit surrounding Surabaya (Suramadu Bridge and Lapindo Mud Site) and Mangrove Planting were organized by the organizer.

Inauguration of Indonesian Society for the Study of Nature (ISSN) was also conducted as part of the ISNAR C2FS. Sukendah – one of the PMB Lab PhD (S3) alumnus, has been appointed as chairman of the ISSN.

PMB Lab staffs and associated graduate students congratulate Sukendah – as the chairman of organizing committee of ISNAR C2FS for the success of the seminar. We hope that Sukendah will also succeed in organizing ISSN in the future.
