Roy Effendi – PMB Lab MSC (S2) alumnus Continues His PhD Program at Hasanuddin University

Roy Effendi graduated from his MSc program in 2009. He is now pursuing his PhD at Hasanuddin University

Roy Effendi, an MSc (S2) alumnus of PMB Lab. has recently informed PMB Lab. about her success in getting scholarship for PhD (S3) graduate studies at Hasanuddin University Graduate Program, Makasar. He was actually also accepted at Agronomy & Horticulture (AGH) Graduate Program, IPB; however, due to a number of reasons he selects Hasanuddin University as the host for his PhD (S3) program.

Roy Effendi completed his MSc (S2) program in 2009. He took Plant Breeding and Biotechnology major and wrote MSc. thesis entitle: ‘Selection methods and selection characters of maize genotypes for drought tolerance.’  His MSc. program was supervised by Prof. Sudarsono (chairman) and Dr. Eko Sulistiono (member). Roy Effendi is a researcher at Balai Penelitian Sereal, Maros, Badan Litbang Pertanian, Departemen Pertanian, Republik Indonesia.

PMB Lab staffs and associated graduate students congratulate Roy Effendi for his success in getting PhD program scholarship at Hasanuddin University. We hope that he will succeed in his PhD Program.
