Yusniwati – A PMB Lab PhD (S3) Alumnus Completed Her First Year KKP3T Project in Drought Tolerance Transgenic Hot Pepper

Dr. Yusniwati (PhD alumnus of PMB Lab) and Prof. Sudarsono participated in Year End Evaluation and Presentation of KKP3T Project in AARD, Jakarta - November 28-29, 2011

Dr. Yusniwati – a PhD (S3) alumnus from PMB Lab completed her first year KKP3T Project in drought tolerance transgenic hot pepper. Yusniwati is a staff of Department of Agro-technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University, Padang-West Sumatra.

Her proposed project was in tissue culture and regeneration of transgenic hot pepper carrying drought tolerance gene. It has been funded for the year 2011.

KKP3T Research Teams from Andalas University and Prof. Sudarsono (PMB Lab-IPB) after finishing the year-end KKP3T project evaluation and Presentation in Jakarta.

In November 28-29, 2011, she brought her research team to Jakarta and went to Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (AARD – Badan Litbang Pertanian) for year-end KKP3T project evaluation and presentation seminar. During those project evaluation seminar, Prof. Sudarsono of PMB Lab discussed with her about the research progress.

All PMB Lab staffs and associated graduate students wish Dr. Yusniwati and her team luck in her KKP3T research project. We hope that the project will results in meaningfull discovery.
