Three Alumni Associated With PMB Lab Have Been Invited To Present Their KKP3N Research Proposal Before The Grant Selection Committee

Research proposal submitted by three alumni associated with PMB Lab have been selected among those that have been invited to do the presentation before the grant selection committee. If the funding committee approve it, funding for their research proposal will be granted. Three alumni associated with PMB Lab who are invited to present their KKP3N research outline are: Dr. Rubiyo of Industrial Crops Research Institute (Balitri), Dr. Zuyasna of University of Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah), and Dr. Ali Husni of BB Biogen.

The Research title that Dr. rubiyo will undertake is yield and disease resistance response of side grafted cacao cultivars. Dr Zuyasna research topic is selection of soybean mutant with drought tolerance, high yielding, and adapted to Aceh region. Both Dr. Rubiyo and Dr. Zuyasna are principal investigator for those respective research proposals. Dr. Ali Husni is a member of research team proposing the development of early detection for seedlessness, sweetness, and good appearance using molecular markers in citrus research activities.

All PMB Lab staffs and associated graduate students congratulate Dr. Rubiyo, Dr. Zuyasna, and Dr. Ali Husni for their success in getting the research funds. We hope that the available fund will be beneficial for the execution of their research activities
