The Gorontalo State University (UNG), Gorontalo, Indonesia will be organizing The Gorontalo International Conference on Coconut 2013 (ICC 2013). Here are excerpts of the official announcement from the organizers:
“Concerning with the World Coconut Day, September 2, 2013 and in response to declining regional gross domestic product and economic growth, especially in Agriculture sector; the Governor of Gorontalo Province, Gorontalo State University UNG, Indonesia Academy of Science (AIPI) and Asian-Pacific Coconut Community (APCC) are collaborating to organize The Gorontalo International Conference on Coconut (ICC). On behalf of the committee we would like to invite you to attend the Gorontalo ICC 2013.
The Conference activities include: 1) Coconut Conference Plenary Presentation. 2) International Seminar for Coconut Research Presentation. 3) Expo Exhibition and Soft Launching of the Research and Business Center Building, 4) Government and Businessman meeting Session. 5) Declaration and Planting of Kopyor Coconut.
The venue of Gorontalo ICC 2013 will be at Ball Room of the New Auditorium, Gorontalo State University (UNG) in September 2-3, 2013. Any interested parties may attend the Gorontalo ICC 2013 by registering their intend to the organizer. Registration for the event has started (August 1, 2013) and will close at the end of August (August 27, 2013).”
