Yth Bapak Ibu,

Terlampir program bea siswa Monsanto’s Beachell–Borlaug International Scholars Program untuk rice and wheat breeder, sebagai berikut:

  • Is open to students worldwide who are seeking a Ph.D. in rice or wheat plant breeding
  • Provides a full package of support, including a generous student stipend, tuition, applicable fees, health insurance, research fees and travel, as well as funds for research at the collaborating institution and for the advising professor
  • Supports student projects that develop advanced breeding techniques and fulfill the requirement of conducting at least one season of field work in a developing country, in order to experience breeding in the field

Dari tahun 2008, sudah ada 80 peneliti yang menerima beasiswa tersebut, akan tetapi belum ada 1 pun yang dari Indonesia.

Seandainya Bapak/Ibu memiliki informasi orang-orang yang kemungkinan tertarik untuk mengikuti program tersebut mohon dapat diinformasikan ke mereka.
