Eka Fibriyanti is a research staff at Balai Penelitian Tanaman Hias (BALITHI – Ornamental Plant Research Institute). Her MSc program was under the financial support of scholarship from the Agency for Agriculture Research and Development (AARD),  Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of Indonesia. Eka Fibriyanti joined PMB Lab. in the year 2010. She was an MSc. student in the Plant Breeding and Biotechnology (PBT) major, IPB Graduate Program, IPB.

Eka Fibriyanti area of research interest was application of in vitro techniques for orchid propagation and the molecular analysis of propagated planting materials. The crop she intended to work for her MSc. thesis was Phalaenopsis sp. orchid. The title of Eka Fibriyanti’s MSc. thesis was “.”

Eka Fibriyanti’s supervisory committee members for the MSc. thesis was: Dr. Ir. Dewi Sukma, MSc. (chairman) and Prof. Dr. Ir. Sudarsono, MSc. (member). Eka Fibriyanti conducted part of her MSc. thesis research at PMB Lab. Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB in the year 2011-2012, under the support of National Strategic Research Project: Orchid Breeding and Plant Propagation coordinated by Dr. Dewi Sukma. Eka Fibriyanti has completed her MSc. program and graduated in August 2013.

Part of Eka Firiyanti ‘s MSc. thesis research is in the review process for publication in the “Jurnal Agronomi Indonesia (JAI)”. The title of her manuscript is: “.”
